The issue can be seen here. It seems as though the recorder didn't work that well because in reality it is shaking much faster, but you get the idea.
I have no idea why it is happening or what is triggering it, but it has been happening for a while. Before when it happened, I could just close Texstudio and turn it back on but that isn't working this time. I use Manjaro Linux and have faced this issue on both my PC and my Laptop. My current solution is to just move to Texmaker instead, but I would rather not do that.
