I want to make a presentation of a reasearch i've doing, and my professors suggested me to use Latex instead of PowerPoint. They gave a template (Beamer) in a tex file that compiles both PDF and DVI in TexStudio and TexMaker, but i want to use Lyx, mostly for time limits.
After googling a couple of minutes, i find an equivalent lyx template by Rich Drewes in Lyx wiki. After deleting all the calls of files that don't exist localy (i just downloaded the .lyx file) lyx was capable of compile but i ran into a problem.
I use the DVI preview for checking my progress normaly, but this time, Lyx when says that the .dvi file compiled succesfully, the Yap viewer (Included with Miktex) starts to open the resulting preview and suddenly closes. No error code appears, Yap just starts and closes without showing any result or error. Compiling pdf works fine and the pdf viewer opens.
Of course, i compiled other of my works (class book) inmediately and yap opens just fine, showing the result. That leads me to conclude that the file has a problem or something wrong.
What's the error in this file? Why keeps opening and closing inmediately my Yap viewer?
Thanks for viewing.
