I want to write email id in the foot note of author. I am a beginner at latex and I have used footnote command but it only shows a question mark on top of my general and no sign of footnote. Also I have used thanks command but I have read that it does not work with revtex... Traditional footnote commands have been tried as well but to no avail. The program runs smoothly but no footnote.

Also if I use email command than it shows in the references but I want it to appear in footnote.

this is the simple form of my doc..

documentclass{revtex4-1}
usepackage{footnote}
usepackage[bottom]{footmisc} %I heard this is not compatible with revtex.
title{My title}
author{ABC}
email{name@yahoo.com}
affiliation{......}
begin{document}
maketitle
end{document}
